Jesse Williams is an American actor and a social activist who portrays Markus in Detroit: Become Human. He is best known for his role in Grey's Anatomy as Jackson Avery.

  • Jesse Williams dated North's actress, Minka Kelly, for a few months after they met each other while filming for Detroit: Become Human.[1]
  • While shooting the game, he has never actually met his co-stars Valorie Curry and Bryan Dechart. Because of scheduling, they filmed all their scenes separately and they were edited together.[2]
    • During a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Bryan and Jesse met for the first time in real life.[3]
  • He has an Instagram page.
  • He is a civil rights activist and supporter of Black Lives Matter, a similar role to Markus.
  • Ironically his first film role was playing a character called Leo (in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2).
    • His last film role had him playing a character called Theo.
